In welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijriah, SD Al Falah Darussalam 2 held a lively and meaningful Tarhib Ramadan Parade on Friday, 13th Febuary. The event was attended by all students from Grade 1 to Grade 6.

The students wore white uniforms as a symbol of purity in welcoming the blessed month. They carried self-made posters and wore unique and adorable decorative headbands. Despite the intense morning heat, the students remained enthusiastic throughout the parade.

After the parade, the students took a short break in their classrooms while enjoying milk provided by the school. The program then continued with a health seminar themed “Healthy Teeth for Best Fasting.”

During the session, Drg. Neni Imamatul Hikmiyah delivered an educational talk on the importance of maintaining dental and oral health while observing the fasting. Using interactive and engaging methods, the students learned proper toothbrushing techniques and practical tips to keep their mouths clean, healthy, and fresh during Ramadan. The atmosphere became even more exciting when several students were invited to the front to practice proper toothbrushing techniques using a dental model.

They demonstrated the correct steps of brushing teeth, from holding the toothbrush properly to applying effective brushing techniques. In addition to gaining valuable knowledge, the students also received toothbrushes to support healthy living habits. The event concluded with an interactive quiz.

Students who answered the questions correctly received attractive prizes, further boosting their enthusiasm. One teacher expressed hope that the activity would not only provide knowledge but also help instill healthy lifestyle habits from an early age.

Meanwhile, the Vice Principal for Student Affairs, Ustadz Noval, emphasized that this year’s Tarhib Ramadan was not merely a ceremonial parade or a showcase of creative posters. “This activity is also an effort to strengthen students’ character so that they care about their personal health as part of preparing to welcome Ramadan,” he said.

With renewed spirit and newly gained knowledge, the students are now ready to observe the blessed month of Ramadan with enthusiasm.
