SD Al Falah Darussalam 2 Sidoarjo has reaffirmed its position as a center for academic and creative excellence following a dominant performance at the National Student Literacy, Art, and Literature Festival (FLS3N) in the Waru District. Competing in a field of 43 primary educational institutions, the school secured multiple championship titles, demonstrating the superior caliber of its student body in both artistic expression and literacy.

Institutional Excellence and Event Management

In addition to student achievements, Al Falah Darussalam served as the host venue for the event. The organizing committee—the Primary School Principals’ Working Group (K3S)—highly commended the institution for its operational efficiency and high standards of hospitality, which ensured a seamless execution of the festival’s complex logistics.

The delegation from SD Al Falah Darussalam 2 Sidoarjo demonstrated a remarkable breadth of talent, securing top honors across four distinct pillars of the festival:

The school’s dominance in literacy was solidified by double first-place victories in Creative Writing and Storytelling. These awards highlight the students’ sophisticated ability to construct compelling narratives and deliver them with persuasive oratory skill, reflecting a deep-seated culture of literacy within the institution.

In the Illustrated Narrative category, the school secured another first-place finish. This achievement underscores the students’ capability to synthesize visual artistry with thematic storytelling, showcasing a high level of conceptual thinking and technical execution.

The school’s success extended into the realm of three-dimensional art, earning the first-place title in Applied Arts (Kriya). This award recognizes the student’s precision, attention to detail, and ability to transform raw materials into an aesthetically and technically sound piece of work.

Rounding out the school’s diverse medal haul was a commendable Runner-up 1 (Harapan 1) finish in Solo Vocal Performance. This placement demonstrates the high caliber of the school’s performing arts program and the individual discipline required for competitive musical performance.

The Principal, Ustazah Juniati, noted that these results are the direct outcome of a disciplined, structured coaching framework. She emphasized that the victory serves as a benchmark for the school’s extracurricular efficacy.

“This accomplishment is a validation of our students’ competencies in literacy and the arts. Beyond the accolades, it reflects the effectiveness of our internal mentorship programs. Our objective is now to maintain this momentum as we transition from district success toward national-level competition.”

Following this district-level success, the FLS3N delegation will undergo a period of rigorous, intensive preparation for the subsequent tiers of the competition. The school administration views literacy as a fundamental pillar of cognitive development, advocating that the integration of arts and literacy is essential for fostering a generation of innovative, culturally literate, and intellectually capable scholars.

This milestone is intended to serve as a catalyst for the broader student community, encouraging a culture of self-actualization and competitive excellence in both academic and non-academic spheres.
